NRN Card

Foreign Citizens and holders of Valid NRN Card will be entitled to Nepali fare in H Class only.

Refund Source

Tickets will only be refunded from the same source where it was issued.

PSC Refund

PSC for un-flown tickets in any class will be refunded.

Infant Fare

Infant under the age of 24 months will be charged 10% of H Fare on a non-seat travel. A valid document with birth date must be presented for check in.

Child Fare

Child between the ages of 2 years and 12 years will be charged 67% of H Fare. A valid document with birth date must be presented for check in.

Resident Fare for Foreigners

Foreigners living in Nepal with a valid non-tourist visa issued at least six months before travel date will be entitled to "Resident Fare".

 

Quoted Fare

The quoted fare includes the charter of the entire helicopter for the route specified or for the number of hours if booked on hourly basis.

Fare Exclusions

The charter cost does not include airport tax, restricted area permission cost and other miscellaneous expenses to be incurred in connection with the proposed flight. All such other extra expenses related to cargo or passengers will be borne by the Charterer.

Payment of Fare

Unless otherwise agreed in advance, the Charterer will be responsible to make full payment in advance of the proposed flights. The Carrier will not be required to commence any flight unless full payment has been received.

Cancellation Fees

The Charterer will be liable to pay 100% of the positioning flight and 25% of the contract amount in the event of cancellation of charter flight by the Charterer.

Carrier Type

Mi-17 or AS350B3e helicopter will be provided for the purpose of transportation of passengers or carriage of cargo.

Charterer Responsibilities

a) The Charterer shall be responsible to assemble and keep all passengers cargo ready at the port of embarkation at least 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure.

b) The Charterer shall ensure that helipad is at least 50 m X 50 m and must have clear approach without any obstruction.

Carrier Responsibilities

If the performance of the contract is delayed or hindered by reasons beyond the control of the Carrier, the Carrier shall notify the Charterer specifying the nature of the problem and of the anticipated delay in the performance of the flight or its inability to perform the flights.

Carrier Rights

a) The Carrier reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the time of departure of the flight for reasons related to weather or other factors affecting safety of operations. The Carrier will not be responsible for any compensation related to such delays.

b) The Carrier may refuse to accept any passenger, baggage or cargo for reasons of safety of the flight, the crew or the helicopter or any combination thereof.

Cargo Contents

a) The Charterer will ensure that only legally permitted items are packed and offered for transportation. The Carrier may or may not inspect the cargo. The responsibility rests entirely with the Charterer to comply with all laws, rules, regulations with respect to what can be transported. The Charterer shall be fully and solely responsible for the type and contents of the goods transported. In the event of any contraband, prohibited or illegal material is found in the cargo the Charterer will be fully responsible for all the consequences thereof.

b) The Charterer will ensure that restricted items like arms and ammunition, explosives and dangerous goods and hazardous materials etc. and any other prohibited items shall not be transported.

c) Dangerous Goods (DG) may only be transported after proper declaration and packaging to the satisfaction of the Carrier. For carriage of any DG the Carrier will charge a DG charge which will be paid promptly by the Charterer.

Payload Restrictions

Payload will depend on weather (temperature and wind), size of cargo and condition of helipad. Voluminous and light cargo may restrict payload. Internal dimensions of Mi-17 helicopter is: Length: 5.34 m Width: 2.34 m Height: 1.8 m. Any piece of cargo exceeding these dimensions will not be accepted for in-cabin carriage.

In case of Flight Diversion/Abortion due to Weather

The Charterer shall be liable for payment of the full charter cost, as per the present rule of the carrier in the event of flight being diverted/ aborted due to weather.

In case of Empty Seats

In the event of empty seats on chartered mountain flights, the Carrier with the consent of the Charterer may offer such empty seats to individuals at a price not to exceed the price of one seat on a mountain flight of the Carrier’s fixed wing fleet.
